Notice of Public Hearing

The South Arkansas Fire Protection District will hold a Public Hearing to consider an amendment to the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the South Arkansas Fire Protection District and the City of Salida:

The proposed amendment to the IGA outlines updates to the agreement governing the provision of fire suppression, emergency medical response, and other critical services between the District and the City of Salida. This amendment reflects enhanced collaboration and adjustments to ensure the continued safety and service for our community.

The purpose of this hearing is to provide an opportunity for the public to comment on the proposed changes before final consideration by the Board of Directors.

All interested residents and stakeholders are encouraged to attend and provide their feedback. Written comments will also be accepted and must be submitted to 124 E Street, Salida, CO no later than December 8, 2024.
